What it is
Start with the proportion. The lead shoe is the XT-4K Mid: Salomon's XT-4 trail silhouette rebuilt taller, a mid-cut version of a runner that has spent its life as a low. Per Kith's own editorial, it keeps the XT-4 tooling under mesh and synthetic overlays, with Kith branding on the lateral side and UV artwork on the medial — the side most product photography never shows. The colourway is Black, Green Gaze and Olive Night.
Two more silhouettes fill the capsule. The XT-VYGR 2 returns in Dark Navy, Dusty Orchid and Transparent, its laces concealed under a ripstop shroud. The XT-4 OG arrives as a Kith exclusive, in Maroon Banner, Nocturne and Knockout Pink. The capsule released globally on Monday Oct 26, 2026 — Kith shops, Kith.com and the Kith App — after an early opening at Kith Vancouver on Oct 23.
Why it matters
Collaborations in this space usually stop at colour. A colourway is cheap to make and cheaper to market; a proportion change is neither. Raising the XT-4K into a mid alters the silhouette the shoe is recognised by, on the maker's own tooling. The other fact worth printing plainly is the one that isn't there: Kith has not published prices. Resale chatter will fill that gap with numbers of its own. We won't — a price we can't source to the maker is not a price record, it's a rumour.

- No published price. Check Kith's own channels at purchase. A resale listing is not the maker's price.
- The UV artwork is on the medial side. Lateral product shots — the standard angle — don't show it. Find medial views before judging the design.
- The XT-4 OG is Kith-exclusive. It is not a general Salomon release; Kith channels are the source.
- Released Oct 26. Stock will have moved since release day; check Kith directly rather than assuming sell-through or a restock.
